Orlando Velazquez

Orlando Velazquez graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance.He also attended Loyola University Chicago, where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 1992.

Upon graduation, Mr. Velazquez took an associate position at an insurance defense firm litigating cases for one year.Mr. Velazquez then took an associates position at a high volume bankruptcy law firm in Chicago, where he concentrated in bankruptcy law for five years.Mr. Velazquez subsequently started his own law firm with another bankruptcy attorney, where he concentrated in real estate and bankruptcy matters for ten years.Mr. Velazquez took a partnership position with Ledford & Wu in 2009.

Mr. Velazquez is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and State of Indiana.

Mr. Velazquez has been active in civic and professional organizations, including the Puerto Rican Bar Association, the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Abused Women's Coalition, and as a member of the hearing board of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission.
